municipality. He has participated in the long distance swimming exhibition of India. In
1980, at just 12 hours 28 minutes, the 74-kilometer river paths flowed
from Jangipur Ghat of Bhagirathi river to Murshidabad to Godabari Ghat. He received numerous awards and honors as a recognition of swimming and record creation.Before
the start of the swimming, Kshitindra Chandra Vaishya said, "I got the
