A teenager named Sharmin Akhter was gang-raped in Jessore for claiming the identity of the father of an unknown child. Although the police did not take the case to trial for this torture. The girl later sued the court. But now the victim families are fleeing the fear of the alleged husband and his associates.
On Friday, press conference in Jessore alleged that Sharmin Akhter, the daughter of late Yar Ali of Buikara village of Abhaynagar upazila. At the press conference, he demanded the identity of his father's father to cry. At the same time, he arranged for 'wedding drama', demanded justice for his friends by gang raped.
Sharmin Akhter himself read the written statement at the press conference. His mother Zohra Khatun, cousin Mustafizur Rahman Sobhan, Maruf Sheikh, Ismail Hossain and others were present.
It is said in the press conference that on the basis of the relationship of love, Sharmin's marriage was held secretly on October 30, 2015, with the son of Bazlur Sardar, Joni Sardar. Since then, Sharmin's father is still in the house, but the relationship between husband and wife is developed. At one stage, Sharmin was pregnant. At this time, Sharmin pressed Johnny to take her home. But Johnny denied the marriage.
On 7th July the cipher of the same area asked Sheikh Sharmin to come to the hotel 'Al Selim' in Nawapara Bazar. There, Johnny's friend Cipher, Sumon, Azim and Rubel tried to force him to abort. But by failing, they raped Sharmeen. After this incident Sharmin made a case against Abhaynagar police station.
However, he did not take the case to the police station and on 25 July he filed a case in Jessore court. In this case, Johnny and his friends are now threatening Sharmin and his family in different ways. That's why they are running away from home
