 Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has stepped down after the Supreme Court disqualified the case of the Panama Document Scandal.The leader of the Muslim League Nawaz Sharif (PML-N) government announced the resignation on Friday noon.A spokesman for the Prime Minister of Pakistan told AFP news agency that despite resignation of the court verdict, Nawaz Sharif has resigned despite resignation.In a brief statement on behalf of the Prime Minister's Office, it said that after hearing the incomplete pronouncement of the Supreme Court on the charge of corruption, Nawaz Sharif has stepped down from the post of Prime Minister.It is said in the statement that Sharif was deprived of justice. But after this, he resigned in honor of the judiciary and the rule of law.Earlier, the Supreme Court of Pakistan gave the verdict declaring Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif disqualified. The Supreme Court ordered the anti-corruption agency of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) to file a referendum against Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his children in six weeks. At the same time it was ordered to end the trial within six months.Apart from this, the court has directed the court to file a reference against Finance Minister Ishaq Dar and retired Captain Safdar Awan, lawmaker and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.A five-member bench of the Supreme Court was hearing the Panama-related case from January this year. The bench gave the judgment to declare Nawaz disqualified on Friday.The five members of the bench are - Justice Asif Saeed Khosa, Justice Ejaz Afzal Khan, Justice Gulzar Ahmed, Justice Sheikh Azmat Saeed and Justice Ijazul Ahsan. Judge Ejaz Afjal read out the verdict.Earlier, no Prime Minister of Pakistan could complete the five-year fixed term. In the fate of Nawaz Sharif, the leader of the Muslim League, Tae JuteThe verdict was pronounced in the Supreme Court's Number One Cell. In the court, Sheikh Rashid, head of the Awami Muslim League and Jamaat-e-Islami chief Sheikh Sirajul Haque, appearing for the case, was present in the court.During the announcement of the verdict in the case, strict security was taken in the Supreme Court and adjoining areas. It is deployed to about 3,000 members of the Islamabad Police and Punjab Rangers.
